How to Store Wine
Wine tip of the month – Storage of wine
If wine is stored incorrectly it can seriously affect the flavour and taste of the wine.
Here are some general points to be followed for long term storage of wine:
Temperature is very important.Wines should be stored in cool and consistent temperatures between 10°C and 15°C. One of the worst places to store your wine is in the kitchen, due to the wide fluctuations in temperature, so don’t place your wine rack near to the stove
or hob.The constant heating and then cooling your wine will experience, will destroy your fine tipple.
