Delicious and crunchy apple fruit is notable for its impressive list of phyto-nutrients, and anti-oxidants.
- 1 apple, cored and finely chopped
- 80g white breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp fresh herbs, parsley, thyme, sage or tarragon, chopped
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Mix together the apple, breadcrumbs and herbs and season well.
Add enough of the egg to bind all together and use to stuff meat or poultry or roll into individual stuffing balls.
If making stuffing balls, bake in the oven with the meat for 30 minutes.
