Ingredients
- Ready Rolled Pastry
- 125ml milk
- 125ml cream
- 4 eggs
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 rashers of crispy cooked bacon (crumbled)
- 100g Cheddar cheese, grated
- 25g Parmesan, grated
- 1 tbsp onion
- salt and pepper, to taste
Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 180°C. Place the pastry in a 9-inch glass pie plate. Blind bake the pastry for 15 minutes. In a medium bowl, mix 125ml milk, 125ml cream, 4 eggs, salt and pepper; set aside. Layer 8 rashers of crispy cooked bacon (crumbled), 100g grated Cheddar cheese, 25g grated Parmesan and 1 tbsp onion in crust-lined plate. Pour egg mixture over top. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with a side salad.
