Bacon Wrapped Dates

Ingredients

  • 650g streaky bacon, cut into thirds
  • 340g dates
  • Fresh rosemary to garnish 

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Position oven rack in the centre of the oven. Cover a baking tray with tin foil.

Step 2

Wrap a piece of bacon around a date. Make sure the bacon seam is placed facing downward on the baking tray. Press firmly on the bacon-wrapped date, so it is less likely to unravel. Repeat until all of the dates are wrapped in bacon.

Step 3

Bake for 20-25 minutes until crisp. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before ser ving. Garnish with rosemary.
