Using brown rice increases the protein in this healthy recipe as well as adding a heart-healthy wholegrain hit.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 300g lean beef strips
- 300g tenderstem broccoli
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 spring onions, finely sliced
- Cooked brown rice, to serve
Method
Step 1
Heat vegetable oil in a large non-stick frying pan or wok over high heat, add the beef and broccoli and fry.
Step 2
After 5 minutes, add the garlic and fry for 1 minute before stirring in the soy, fish and oyster sauces. Cook for a further 3 minutes until brocolli is cooked through. Sprinkle over most of the spring onions and stir to combine.
Step 3
Garnish with the remaining spring onions, if desired. Serve with cooked brown rice.
