A delicious spicy meal for beef lovers.
- 1 kg thick flank beef, diced
- 2 tsp garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1⁄4 cup ginger
- 110g butter
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 12 red chillies
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1⁄2 cup plain yoghurt
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 10 cardamom pods
- 1 tsp All Spice
- 1⁄2 bunch coriander
Put 1⁄2 litre water, beef, 1 teaspoon garlic and 1⁄2 teaspoon salt in a pot.
Cover with a lid and let it cook.
Add butter and oil when a little water is left in the beef.
Add ginger, garlic, chillies, 1⁄2 teaspoon salt, red chilli powder, white pepper and yoghurt.
Let it cook. When the yoghurt dries up, add tomatoes.
Grind cardamom pods into a paste and add 1⁄2 teaspoon into the pot.
Add All-Spice and fry till oil separates from the curry.
Serve with basmati rice and homemade naan.
