- 1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- sesame seeds to garnish
Method
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 200°C. Line a baking rimmed baking tray with baking paper. Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs in a large bowl and mix them together well. Roll 20 meatballs and place them on the parchment lined baking tray. Bake them in the oven for 25 minutes, or until they have browned and are cooked through.
Step 2
While the meatballs are baking prepare the sauce. Combine all the ingredients in a medium sized bowl and bring it to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat.
Step 3
When the meatballs are cooked remove them from the oven then put them in the pot with the sauce. Gently stir them around until fully coated. Serve them threaded through wooden skewers topped with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
