A yummy mouthwatering recipe using Masala paste that is easy to make!
Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) green chillies, halved
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tablespoon(s) oil
- 3 tablespoon(s) coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon(s) fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon(s) mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon(s) fenugreek seeds
- 1 teaspoon(s) turmeric
- 1 tablespoon(s) salt
Method
Step 1
To make the Masala paste, place coriander, fennel, mustard, fenugreek, turmeric and salt in a blender. Blend into a powder. Add the powder into a bowl and squeeze in the lemon juice and mix well. Heat the oil till it smokes. Pour the smoking hot oil over the spices and mix well.
Step 2
Add the chopped chilli and toss well with the masala. Take a clean, dry, air tight jar and pour the chillies into it.
Step 3
Cover and store for 2 days before consuming.
