Marinades are helpful when it comes to flavour and tenderising. A tough steak can be difficult to chew, making it much less enjoyable. That’s where this delicious marinade comes into play!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup(s) butter
- 2 tablespoon(s) garlic, crushed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 bottle beer
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 1 lime
- 3 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon(s) fresh chopped parsley
Method
Step 1
Juice the orange, lemon, and lime.
Step 2
Heat butter in skillet and sauté garlic and onions until translucent. Add beer, brown sugar, teriyaki sauce, and the juice from the orange, lemon, and lime. Simmer for 2 minutes then remove from heat and set aside to cool before using. Add fresh herbs.
Step 3
Brush on meat and marinade for time specified: Chicken – 45 minutes Beef – 1 hour 30 minutes Fish – 20 minutes
