Not only is this recipe great for summer parties, it is also a delicious and refreshing punch to take out on a relaxing picnic.
- 2 Bottles (750ml each) Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1 cup(s) Brandy
- 0.15 cup(s) Sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) Orange Liqueur
- 450 grams strawberries, hulled and halved
- 3 Oranges, Thinly Sliced
- 3 Limes, Thinly Sliced
- 2 Lemons, Thinly Sliced
- 4 cup(s) Fresh Mint, Optional
- 1 Can Country Club Lime & Soda
Stir together Cabernet Sauvignon wine, brandy, sugar and orange liqueur in large pitcher, until sugar is dissolved.
Stir in the mint, and use a wooden spoon to crush the mint so that the flavour is released. Add strawberries, lime, lemon and orange to the wine mixture, and lightly mull the fruit to release juices.
Cover and refrigerate for anywhere from 2-24 hours. Stir in Country Club Lime & Soda if desired, then strain and serve over ice
