Ingredients
- 185g self-raising flour
- 125g brown sugar
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 60g butter (softened)
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp golden syrup
- 1 egg
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix all the ingredients (except the egg) together and add the beaten egg bit by bit to make a stiff consistency.
Step 2
Roll out and cut into shapes of choice. Place on a baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let cool and serve.
