Ingredients
- 600g sirloin steak
- veggies such as peppers, baby marrows and onions
- Marinade:
- 60ml olive oil
- 60ml soy sauce
- 11⁄2 tbsp lemon juice
- 11⁄2 tbsps red wine vinegar
- 21⁄2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsps Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp garlic and some pepper
Method
Step 1
In a mixing bowl whisk together 60ml olive oil, 60ml soy sauce, 11⁄2 tbsp lemon juice, 11⁄2 tbsps red wine vinegar, 21⁄2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 2 tsps Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp garlic and some pepper. Place 600g sirloin steak into a large resealable bag.
Step 2
Pour the marinade over the steak then seal bag. Refrigerate and allow to marinate 3 - 6 hours. Preheat a grill over medium-high heat. Slice some veggies such as peppers, baby marrows and onions into bit sized pieces. Drizzle with oil and season, lightly toss to coat.
Step 3
Assemble the kebabs alternating the veggies and steak pieces onto each kebab. Place kebabs on grill and cook, turning occasionally, until centre of steak is cooked to desired doneness.
