Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 11⁄2 tbsps ground ginger
- 11⁄2 tbsps vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- 1⁄2 tsp black pepper
- 450g rump steak, cubed
- 1 red pepper, cut into squares
- 1 yellow pepper, cut into squares
- 1 red onion, cut into squares
- 200g cherry tomatoes
- 2 baby marrows, sliced
- 4 skewers
Method
Step 1
Combine first 8 ingredients in a bowl and set aside. If using wooden skewers, soak in water.
Step 2
Divide marinade in half and marinate vegetables and meat in separate containers for 2 hours.
Step 3
Remove vegetables and meat from the marinade. Alternately thread the vegetables and steak on the skewers. Grill kebabs over medium-heat for 4-5 minutes per side and serve.
