Grilled Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 125ml balsamic vinegar
  • 6 tbsps olive oil
  • 3 tbsps fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tbsps rosemary
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 lamb chops, fat trimmed

Method

Step 1

Mix the first 6 ingredients in small bowl. Place lamb chops in single layer in a glass dish. Pour the marinade over and cover with foil. Refrigerate for 4 hours, turning the lamb chops occasionally.

Step 2

Prepare braai or gas grill to medium high heat. Season the lamb with salt and pepper and place on the braai or grill. Cover and grill chops to desired doneness, basting often with the marinade, about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer to platter and serve.
