Honey & Rosemary Baked Chicken

  • 12 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1⁄2 tsp pepper
  • 1⁄2 tsp salt


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 230°C. Drizzle olive oil in a large roasting pan and bring to a medium high heat. Place the chicken drumsticks skin side down. Add lemon juice, garlic, honey and rosemary to pan. Sprinkle salt and pepper over chicken. Cook the chicken drumsticks in the pan for about 12-14 minutes until skin is golden and a little crispy. You may have to rearrange chicken a little to make sure all sides of skin is browned evenly.

Step 2

Next, place the pan in preheated oven and cook for approximately 30 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown. Once cooked, let stand a couple of minutes before serving.
