Kiwi & Granadilla Fruit Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe kiwis
  • 4 granadillas
  • 1⁄2 lemon – juice and the zest
  • 85g sugar
  • 1 cup water

Method

Step 1

Boil the water and sugar for about 10 minutes.

Step 2

Puree the peeled kiwis with the lemon juice and then strain.

Step 3

Add the sugar syrup to the kiwi and lemon mix and mix well.

Step 4

Freeze until slushly (or use an ice cream machine).

Step 5

Turn the mixture into a bowl and add the granadilla esh. (With or without the pips).

Step 6

Whisk till smooth and freeze again till firm - allow to soften in the fridge a little before serving.
