Lemon Prawn Pasta

  • 225g linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 6 tbsps butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 600g prawns
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 50g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


Step 1

In a large heavy saucepan, melt the butter over In a large pot cook the pasta in boiling water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Using the same pan, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook until fragrant.

Step 3

Add the prawns and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the prawns start to turn pink. Add the Italian seasoning. Add the pasta back to the pot with the remaining butter and Parmesan. Stir until mixed and butter is melted. Add the lemon juice before serving and sprinkle extra Parmesan.
