Lime and Ginger Prawn Kebabs

Easy to prepare and even quicker to eat. Serve with rice and a herb salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon(s) sesame oil
  • cup(s) (real) lime juice
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon(s) ginger, grated
  • cup(s) coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon(s) paprika
  • cup(s) olive oil
  • 48 King Prawns, tails intact

Method

Step 1

Blend all ingredients (except prawns) Season with salt and pepper. Toss and coat prawns gently with marinade and put in freezer to chill. Thread prawns onto soaked bamboo skewers. Grill or barbeque for a few minutes a side until they turn pink.
