- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 red chilli, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 2 tsps lime juice
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 750g raw king prawns
- Lime wedges
Place the garlic, chilli, oil, lime juice, salt and pepper in a large non-metallic bowl and whisk until well combined. Add the prawns and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Heat a braai or grill plate to high. Remove prawns from marinade and thread 3 prawns and 2 lime wedges alternately onto metal or bamboo skewers. Grill the kebabs for 2 minutes each side or until prawns are cooked through and golden.
