  • 1 ounce light rum
  • 10ml – 15ml sugar, or to taste
  • 3 lime wedges
  • 80ml Rum
  • A few ice cubes
  • soda water, to top up


Step 1

Place the mint, sugar and lime wedges in a sturdy glass, and crush using a muddle if you have one. The back of a wooden spoon works just as well.

Step 2

Add the rum and ice cubes and top up with soda. Stir it up vigorously and serve immediately.
