Great for the braai, especially with the mayonnaise
Ingredients
- 6 fresh sweetcorn cobs
- butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 teaspoon(s) French mustard
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 1/4 cup(s) oil
- 1/2 cup(s) grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup(s) cream
- 2 shallots, chopped
Method
Step 1
Spread 6 pieces of aluminum foil with butter, wrap a cob of corn in each piece of foil, barbecue until tender, turning every 5 minutes.
Step 2
Parmesan Mayonnaise Combine egg yolks, mustard, garlic and lemon juice in food processor. With motor running add oil very slowly through feed tube, add cheese and cream, process until combined, stir in shallots.
