Try this juicy steak sandwich for a great lunchtime filler.
- 3 sirloin steaks
- 1⁄2 cup Caesar Dressing
- 2 cups lettuce, roughly chopped
- Sprinkle of Sea Salt and Black Pepper
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 small onion, sliced
- 6 rolls, split, toasted
- 12 thin slices white cheddar
Cut beef steak lengthwise in half, then crosswise into 1⁄2 to 1cm thick strips. Reserve 2 tablespoons of Caesar Dressing. Pour remaining dressing in medium bowl. Add beef; toss to coat. Cover and leave in refrigerator 30 minutes.
Remove beef from marinade; discard marinade. Heat large non- stick frying pan over medium- high heat until hot. Add 1⁄2 of beef strips; stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes or until outside surface of beef is no longer pink. (Do not overcook.) Remove from frying pan; keep warm. Repeat with remaining beef strips.
Place two slices of white cheddar on the base of each roll. Toss lettuce with reserved dressing in medium bowl and divide evenly over each roll. Top with beef, onions and tomatoes, sprinkle Sea Salt and Black Pepper. Eat straight away or wrap up tight in foil for a perfect lunch meal.
