Store in an airtight containder for up to one week. Best served with coffee or an espresso.
- 115 grams butter
- 115 grams sugar
- 115 grams flour
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon(s) instant coffee powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- chocolate buttons for decoration
Cream the butter and sugar.
Add sifted dry ingredients and combine lightly.
Roll into balls and place on a greased oven tray and flatten.
Place a chocolate button in the centre of each biscuit.
Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 175C.
