All you need are ice lolly moulds, ripe fruit and a freezer. These are ideal for children as well as adults for a fun end to a Summer lunch as a healthy treat.
Ingredients
- 1 liter(s) Pineapple or Tropical Fruit Juice
- 1 kiwi fruit
- 1 handful(s) strawberries, sliced
- 1 mango, sliced thinly
- 1 handful blueberries
Method
Step 1
When making ice lollies make sure the fruit you use is ripe so that you get maximum flavour and sweetness.
Step 2
Wash and slice your selected fruit. Fill lolly trays half-full with prepared fresh fruit slices.
Step 3
Fill up gaps and spaces with the Pineapple fruit juice.
Step 4
Cover with a chopping board to weigh down any fruit slices. Freeze until fully frozen.
Step 5
TIP: To remove an ice lolly from its mould, once frozen, the individual mould needs to be held in a container filed with warm water or under a running tap until the ice lolly can be released.
