Ingredients
- 4 x 200g sirloin steak
- 30g butter
- 2 tbsps plain flour
- 1 1⁄4 cups hot milk
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 3⁄4 cup cream
- 250g marinara mix, drained
- 2 tbsps dill, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Method
Step 1
Heat oil in large frying pan, cook beef, uncovered, until cooked as desired.
Step 2
Meanwhile, melt butter in medium saucepan, add flour, cook, stirring, until mixture bubbles and thickens. Gradually add milk, stirring, until mixture boils and thickens.
Step 3
Bring wine to the boil in medium frying pan then reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, until reduced by half.
Step 4
Add white wine sauce, cream and marinara mix to medium frying pan, bring to the boil. Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until seafood is cooked through. Stir in dill and juice.
Step 5
Serve steak topped with seafood sauce.
