This is a simple and easy recipe to make and are great as appetisers or in a lunch box
- 4 cup(s) Plain Flour
- 2 teaspoon(s) Instant Yeast
- 1 teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) Salt
- 2 tablespoon(s) Olive Oil
- 2 Large Tomatoes sliced
- 1 Large Onion diced
- 1/2 Jar Pizza Sauce or Homemade
Mix and knead together all of the dough ingredients. Cover the dough, and allow it to rise for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 200°C. Spray baking sheet lightly with cooking spray and roll out your dough into a rectangle. Spread with a small amount of sauce. Add the tomatoes and onions. Fold up the short ends and roll into a tube (cinnamon roll style). Bake for 20-25 minutes. Dough should be lightly browned. Let sit for a few minutes.
Slice the roll into individual pinwheels and serve.
