‘Zimbabwean’ Greek Salad

Exactly like a Greek Salad, just made in Zimbabwe. Either way, it’s a Summer Classic.
Ingredients
- 1 lettuce, or assorted leaves, rinsed, dried and chopped
- 1 bunch rocket, rinsed
- 1 onion,thinly sliced
- 1 packet black olives
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 100g cherry tomatoes
- ½ cucumber, sliced
- 100g feta cheese, cubed
- 4 tbsps olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 lemon, juiced
- ground black pepper, to taste
Method
Step 1
In a large salad bowl, combine the lettuce onion, olives, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber and cheese.
Step 2
Whisk together the olive oil, oregano, lemon juice and black pepper. Pour dressing over salad, toss and serve.
